The COBOL Android demo shows COBOL code running directly on an Android emulator,
part of the Android SDK or on an Android device.
Note: This AddPack requires Visual COBOL for Eclipse R4 Update 2 for Windows and
above which can be downloaded from Supportline.
The Android for Community AddPack enables COBOL programs to be deployed to the
Android platform. This AddPack is purely for the purposes of individuals in the
community who have expressed interest in Android deployment following the
demonstration of this technology at the Visual COBOL R3 launch webinar. The
technology carries no warranty or support and is not available for production
deployment. Further details can be found in the accompanying readme.
