During the project initialization process, you have the option of creating sample data for use with Issue Manager. The sample data enables you to experiment with Issue Manager’s functionality without risking your actual data. See “Initializing Database Configuration” above for details on installing the sample data.
Note You should create a separate project for which you want to create sample data. It is not recommended to populate a productive project with sample data.
Exploring the sample database
In the sample database, the user dhart, or Dan, has all Issue Manager related privileges. If you log into the sample database as dhart, you will have access to all tasks. The demo user accounts have the same password as their username, for example the user dhart has the password dhart.
Procedure To log into the sample Issue Manager database as dhart:
1 Type dhart in the User Name field and in the password field.
2 Click the Login button or hit the Enter key.
3 You will be automatically directed to the first available unit of your SilkCentral application, since this user never accessed the system before. SilkCentral will remember the page you last visited for each user, and will present the last visited page after re-logging from the same computer with the same user.
