This section explains how to customize the standard issue fields, tab labels, and automatic fields, with the exception of the Action Release field. (Information on customizing the Action Release field is described in “Release Information”.) You cannot delete any of these fields, nor can you add to them. However, you can change their properties; for example, you can edit their labels, choose their mode, and restrict the groups that have permission to fill in or modify them.
Customizing standard issue fields & tab labels
Note You need the GUI customization privilege to perform these actions.
Procedure To modify the standard issue fields and tab labels:
1 Select Configuration/Standard Issue Fields to open the Standard Issue Fields page. Note that the page is laid out like the Issue Details page.
2 Take one of the following actions:

Click the link of any tab you wish to edit. The Edit Label dialog opens. Modify the tab’s name as required. Click OK. | |
