Initial system default view
When you install Issue Manager, the initial systemwide default inbox view consists of the following eight columns:

• Severity |
• Component |
|
• Issue# |
• Synopsis |
|
• Product |
• Reporter (User who created the issue) |
|
• Release |
• LastMod (User who last modified the issue) |
What you can customize
You can customize this default view of inboxes for all users by:
• Adding or removing columns from the display
• Editing a column’s label
• Changing a column’s sort order
Individual users can in turn create their own personal custom views of inboxes. See the SilkCentral Issue Manager User Guide for details.
How to modify the system default view
Note You need the Groups, inboxes, and user accounts security privilege to perform these tasks.
Procedure To modify the system default inbox view:
1 Go to Configuration/Inbox Views.
2 This page displays all of the fields that you can choose to display in an inbox view. Most of the fields are recognizable from the Issue Details page. Others (e.g., NumHistory, NumCases, NumAttaches, NumTestcases, and NumNotify) refer to the number of entries on the History, Customers, Attached Files, Testcases, and Notifications tabs, respectively. This page also displays the schema, or DB Field Name, of each column.
3 Select System Default from the View of user drop-down list.
4 Proceed with one of the actions listed below:

Click the blue right-pointing arrow of any field in the List of Available Fields column that you wish to add. |

Remove a column |
Click the blue left-pointing arrow of any field in the Inbox Column Label column that you wish to remove. |

Change a column’s label or sort order |
Select a field name link in the Inbox Column Label column of a field that you want to edit. The Inbox Column Properties dialog opens, showing the current and default values. a Type a new label in the Inbox Column Label field. b Select the Ascending or Descending radio button to change the sort order. Click OK to save the settings. |

To move a field up or down in the Inbox Column Label list, |
Click the Move Up or Move Down icon (in the Actions column) of the field you want to move up or down in the list. |
5 Click the View Inbox button to view the updated system default inbox view.
