Micro Focus Server License Messages

Micro Focus Server licensing messages are issued when Micro Focus Server licenses are being checked.

Note: The term Application Server appears in some of the following messages. Application Server is the old name for Micro Focus Server. The two names are synonymous.

The following licensing messages might be displayed:

ASLM: License database does not exist
ASLM: No license database header
ASLM: Error opening license database
ASLM: License database has been moved
ASLM: License database checksum failure
No App Server License available for CGI
No Application Server License available
All number Application Server Licenses are in use
ASLM: Semaphore failure. Rerun as root
No Application Server License available
number system and number user license installed number in use
ASLM: Errno number
A lapsed time-limited developer license is installed
Error - No license key detected
Unable to connect to License Manager
Error %d validating licenses

If the license database is corrupted, you can recover it using the utility aslmdbrecover. See the section Recovering from a Corrupt Database in the chapter Installing and Administering Licenses in your Deployment Licensing Guide.
